Sydney Sweeney has never, ever been more independent.

The “Anyone but You” actress, 27, shut down the “preconceived notion” that her 40-year-old fiancé, Jonathan Davino, pays for everything in their relationship because he’s 13 years older.

“I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard,” Sweeney told Glamour in an interview published Thursday.

Not only did the “Euphoria” star explain that she pays her own bills, but Sweeney emphasized that she is the breadwinner for her family.

“I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family,” she said.

Davino’s bride-to-be even went on to note that her beau of six years is “not a financial backer” for her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films.

Sweeney, who’s been with Davino since 2018, said that she wanted to “set the record straight” on her romance and career as an actress and producer.

“You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man,” the Laneige brand ambassador said.

“We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.”

Sweeney further said she’s proud of her professional and financial accomplishments, which have allowed her to pay off her mother’s mortgage, fly her grandparents to Italy and buy her uncle his “dream boat.”

Despite being one of Hollywood’s rising stars, Sweeney said she’s aware that her success could vanish at any point.

“I come from a family where I saw my parents lose everything, and I am terrified of that. That fear will always be instilled in me. I’m a huge saver,” she said.

“I don’t just go and spend money. I like to invest. I like real estate. I like making, hopefully, smart choices with the money I’m making. But I don’t think I’ll ever actually feel comfortable.”

Despite her serious relationship with Davino, the starlet previously fueled romance rumors with her “Anyone but You” co-star Glen Powell when the two were promoting their romantic comedy in 2023.

Powell, 35, addressed the dating rumors in April, admitting, “That’s people wanting what’s on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully.”
