Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has had many tongues wagging as a result of her new look.
Many fans have noted that Tacha has undergone a noticeable weight loss, with some of them expressing concern.
Ewatomi Blaq wrote, “Abeg you’re looking like your throwback. Excess of everything is bad kilode.”
Ashely Banda said, “Stop it before you start looking like Arianna Grande.”
John Madukwe wrote, “Tacha what’s happening. This one don pass healthy looking.”
Alix Pius said, “My dear nothing is bodying here all I see is weak and irritating skin.”
Silo Ethel said, “Ozempic excess.”
However, addressing her critics in a video post, Tacha stated, “Why is it so difficult for you people to give me my credit? Everything I do, you must link it to something. Is it my fault you have decided to be mediocre? I’m looking good as hell, and they say it’s Ozempic. Will Ozempic have your body looking this toned? Go and take Ozempic then. It’s not my fault you decided to prioritize sugar and late-night food. Everyone on my Snapchat knows that by 5 a.m., I’ve woken up to go to the gym while you are still snoring. By 10 pm, you’re molding amala to eat, and you want to have a flat tummy like this.”
The former reality show contestant has undoubtedly had to navigate numerous changes since her relocation to the UK. She recently opened up about her decision to move late last year, attributing it to the poor pay for influencers in Nigeria.
In a podcast with British media personality Madame Joyce, Tacha shared her reasons for relocating, “I moved to the UK because I have conquered the whole of the Nigerian market. Relocating to the UK doesn’t mean I’m not going to pursue Nigerian deals. If the offer is good, why not?
“The influencing scene in Nigeria looks so beautiful, but behind the scenes, it’s not as glamorous as it seems because the money is poor. Someone would pay you N6 million, which is around $3,000, for you to influence for six months and post two videos a month.
“Right now, $3,000 is nothing. N6m seems appealing, but when you convert it to dollars, travel abroad, and spend money to maintain your appearance, there’s hardly anything left.”
