Last week on Monday Night Raw, CM Punk announced that he had suffered a torn tricep muscle during the Royal Rumble match. Punk has since undergone surgery and will be out of action for most of the remainder of the year. Punk’s friend Ace Steel appeared on the Wrestling Perspective Podast and revealed that WWE “definitely” wants Punk to do commentary while he is recovering. There is no word on when or where Punk could join a commentary team, or if he has agreed to do so.
