The voice of the company? Injuies are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as they can change so many things all at once. It is devastating to see someone put on the shelf for a long time, though the problem is not just for the wrestler. At the same time, the wrestling promotion is in trouble of its own, as they have lost something as well. Now we have an idea of what WWE might do to deal with such an issue.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, CM Punk announced that he had suffered a torn tricep muscle during the Royal Rumble match. Punk has since undergone surgery and will be out of action for most of the remainder of the year. Punk’s friend Ace Steel appeared on the Wrestling Perspective Podast and revealed that WWE “definitely” wants Punk to do commentary while he is recovering. There is no word on when or where Punk could join a commentary team, or if he has agreed to do so.
