After a packed slate of Champions League action in midweek, the Europa and Conference Leagues take centre stage on Thursday with plenty of British interest.

Rangers and Chelsea both have leads going into the second legs of their clashes while Tottenham and Manchester United have work to do if they are to reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in Eintracht Frankfurt v Ajax - 20/21

Ajax have been flying high in the Eredivisie but were beaten 2-1 by Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their round of 16 Europa League clash, meaning they have to travel to Germany to overcome a one-goal deficit.

Frankfurt disappointed with a 2-1 defeat to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga last weekend but that was another of their recent matches to follow a high-scoring trend.

Both teams have found the net in six of the hosts’ last seven games and their last five have all gone over 2.5 goals.

With Ajax having to go for it at some point, they could leave themselves open on the counter and an end-to-end clash could ensue.

In Hugo Ekitike, Frankfurt have one of the hottest young strikers in European football and he could have a big say in a match that is fancied to see both teams score and also produce three or more goals.

Cyriel Dessers was instrumental in his team’s first-leg win and now has four goals in his last three outings, suggesting he could get on the scoresheet once more.

Fenerbahce had 23 shots in the first game between these two and with them needing to force the issue, they should be able to go over 11 attempts.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring for Manchester United against Arsenal at the weekend and he has now netted three times in his last five matches.

The Portuguese midfielder will be on penalty and free-kick duties for the Red Devils so is a tempting price to open the scoring in what looks likely to be a cagey affair with Real Sociedad.
