Bet of the day
Manchester City -2 goals vs Leicester - 13/10
Leicester are currently on a dismal run of form, losing 13 of their last 14 games, and things look set to get even worse when they visit Manchester City in this Premier League clash.
The Citizens became the first team ever to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup seven times on the spin after their 2-1 win over Bournemouth at the weekend and this is a significant step down in class on those opponents.
The Foxes have been woeful in front of goal recently, failing to score in 11 of their last 14 top-flight outings, and they were comfortably seen off 2-0 when these two sides met in December.
The Citizens now have just the FA Cup and the top-four race to play for and look likely to rack up the goals against a Leicester team that look destined for relegation.
Take the hosts to overcome a two-goal deficit on the handicap.
Special of the day
Bournemouth to win, both teams to score and Evanilson to score at any time vs Ipswich - 16/5
Bournemouth were pipped by Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals at the weekend and will be hoping to bounce back as they seek out a first-ever European spot in the current campaign.
They return to Premier League action against Ipswich, who have lost eight of their last nine in the league and look destined for the drop along with Leicester and Southampton.
The Tractor Boys have lost and both teams have scored in five of their last seven Premier League games and a repeat of that is fancied in this one.
Round off this bet builder by adding Evanilson to net at any time for the hosts. The 25-year-old Brazilian has scored in three of his last four appearances and can stay hot in front of goal.
Long shot of the day
Yoane Wissa to score first vs Newcastle - 5/1
Newcastle ended their long wait for a trophy when lifting the EFL Cup against Liverpool last month and there will be a party atmosphere at St James’ Park as they take on Brentford in their first Premier League game following the success.
However, the Bees will be hoping to spoil the party on Tyneside and the Magpies have been slow starters at times this season.
Newcastle have scored first in just 12 of their 28 league games and they may fall behind to Thomas Frank’s men here, who have bagged the opener in eight of their 14 away matches.
Yoane Wissa has netted in the last two league meetings between these teams and has three goals in his last four games to take his tally for the season to 14.
He is a tempting price to open the scoring in this one.
