Bet of the Day - Burnley vs Leeds - Both Teams To Score - No @ 7/10

Goals are likely to be in short supply at Turf Moor when third-placed Burnley take on Championship leaders Leeds in a clash with huge promotion ramifications. 

Daniel Farke’s side have kept 16 Championship clean sheets this season, with Scott Parker’s Clarets the only team to have recorded more.

Six of Burnley’s 18 shutouts have come in the six games they have played since Christmas while Leeds have blanked four of their opponents across the same period.

Despite the visitors being the division’s top scorers and the home side coming off a 5-0 away win at Plymouth, this game will probably be decided by the first goal. 

Both teams have proven adept at shutting down games once they have the lead, with 13 of Burnley’s 15 league wins coming that way.

Leeds have scored the opener in only four of their 13 away matches, but won them all without conceding. 

Those stats indicate a likelihood that one or both teams can keep a clean sheet in this clash.

Special of the Day - Desportivo Aves vs Gil Vicente - Either Draw 0-0 or 1-1 @ 85/40

If ever a game was made for a Combination Correct Score bet it is this one, as two Portuguese draw specialists meet in the Monday night graveyard slot.

Desportivo Aves have drawn half of their 18 league games this season, more than any other club in the division, while Gil Vicente are fond of a stalemate themselves. 

The Roosters have drawn three of their last four league games to make it seven for the campaign overall and all seven of those deadlocked contests finished either 0-0 or 1-1.

Likewise, all nine of Aves’ drawn matches have seen fewer than three goals scored. 

Bizarrely, it finished 4-2 to Gil Vicente when these two clubs met in Barcelos earlier this season, but a repeat result looks unlikely. 

Aves have not scored more than once in any of their last seven games and the Roosters have only been able to crow about scoring multiple goals in one of their previous nine away league trips.

Longshot of the Day - Venezia vs Hellas Verona - Both Teams To Score in the First Half @ 19/5

A big relegation battle looms in Italy for Venezia and Hellas Verona, who are separated by four points in Serie A’s bottom three.

Usually, these sorts of affairs are tight and tense in the beginning, but this one has the makings of a barnstormer in the opening 45 minutes.

First halves of Hellas Verona matches have produced the highest goal average in Serie A and Venezia are not far behind.

Some 43 percent of the Mastiffs’ league games have featured goals at both ends before the interval, which is almost twice the Serie A average.

Both teams have scored in the first half in three of Verona’s last five away games and three of Venezia’s last seven home contests, making the odds of almost 4/1 about each team bagging before the break great value.
