Marseille to win to nil v Le Havre @ 51/50
Marseille are second in Ligue 1, 10 points behind runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain - and the Olympians will be expected to close the gap on the French giants when they host a Le Havre outfit in the midst of a relegation battle.
Roberto De Zerbi’s men are on a five-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, winning four and drawing the other 1-1 against Lille, and only PSG have scored more goals in the league than Marseille’s tally of 32.
The visitors meanwhile are second bottom in the French top flight and have lost each of their last four matches in all competitions, including a 1-0 defeat to fourth-tier Stade Briochin in the Coupe de France last time out.
Each of those losses have been to nil and no side has scored fewer goals in Ligue 1 than Les Ciel et Marine (11). Their wastefulness in front of goal could lead to another shutout defeat in this contest.
Special of the day
Liverpool to win, over 2.5 goals and Mohamed Salah to score anytime v Manchester United @ 13/10
Liverpool are on a 23-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and that impressive form, which has seen the Reds go six points clear at the top of the table, should be plenty good enough to defeat a poor Manchester United side on Sunday.
Arne Slot’s side have won seven of their nine matches at Anfield this season, conceding just six goals, while Ruben Amorim’s United have lost each of their last four, the last three of which coming to nil.
The Reds have been involved in plenty of high-scoring encounters in recent weeks, with each of their last five in all competitions having featured at least three goals.
Another winner could be in store this weekend and Mohamed Salah could play his part once again. The Egyptian has scored 15 goals against Manchester United in his career, more than he has bagged against any other club, and he will relish the opportunity to increase his tally against their shaky backline.
Long shot of the day
Hibernian to win v Rangers @ 17/4
Rangers claimed a famous 3-0 victory over their bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic last time out but consistency has been an issue this season for Philippe Clement’s men and that could allow in-form Hibernian to come out on top.
The Gers have already dropped points in seven matches this season, including four defeats, and they find themselves 11 points off the pace in the title race.
Hibs, meanwhile, are the form side in the division, picking up 13 points across their last five Premiership matches.
That includes victories in both of their last two at Easter Road so it is not beyond the realms of possibility that the hosts continue their hot streak on Sunday.
