Tam Nakano made it clear that she will still have her eyes set on the World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani this 2025.
At STARDOM Dream Queendom 2024, Tam Nakano lost her World of Stardom belt to her former protégé Saya Kamitani. Kamitani proved to be a completely different competitor than what Nakano used to know her to be. The new champion taunted Tam with the belt and forced her to wrap the championship around her waist to celebrate.
To kick off the new year, Tam Nakano put out a statement on her Twitter to state her intentions. She began by thanking her fans for their support in the past year before listing down her 2025 plans. Her first four goals were to reclaim the World of Stardom Championship, crush Saya Kamitani, make her cry, and put an end to her “weird makeup”.

Tam Nakano also mentioned wanting to finally defeat Mayu Iwatani after a long history of losses to the “Icon of Stardom”. She has previously expressed interest in Iwatani’s IWGP Women’s Championship as well, but she has never had the chance to challenge for it since Wrestle Kingdom 17 against KAIRI (now known as Kairi Sane in WWE).
She also mentioned seeking future growth for STARDOM as a company. Nakano wishes for STARDOM to host a show at the Tokyo Dome and make it the greatest wrestling promotion in the world.
