Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has extended Christmas greetings to the people of the state, urging them to embrace unity, love, and compassion during the festive season.

In a message shared on X on Wednesday, the governor highlighted the moral and spiritual significance of Christmas, reflecting on the birth and life of Jesus Christ as a testament to God’s boundless love for humanity.

“As we celebrate this special time of year, let us come together in unity—to spread love, kindness, and compassion to those around us,” he stated, encouraging citizens to embody the core principles of their faith.

Kefas further underscored the essence of Christmas, reminding the people of Taraba to recognise and uphold the values of hope, joy, and love that the season symbolises through the teachings of Jesus.

Looking towards the future, the governor expressed optimism for sustained progress in the state.

“With 2024 approaching its final moments, we express our eternal gratitude to Almighty God for the progress realised thus far,” he remarked.

The governor urged residents to carry the spirit of the season into the new year by being a source of blessings to others and contributing positively to the state’s growth.

As he wished the citizens peace and happiness this Christmas, Kefas offered prayers for collective advancement in 2025, calling on everyone to embrace unity and work together for a brighter future.
