Tate McRae spilled the tea about how she landed a cameo from Sydney Sweeney on her new album.

The 21-year-old “Sports Car” hitmaker dropped her album So Close to What on Friday (February 21). The opening track “Miss possessive” included an appearance from the Euphoria actress.

While on the show, Tate explained that she ran into Sydney during a previous appearance on Jimmy Fallon‘s late-night show.

“We both kind of knew each other,” she explained. “We kind of waved, said ‘Hi.’”

She continued, saying that she did Pilates with Glen, who starred in Anyone But You with Sydney. That connection helped her get in touch to line things up.

“It’s really fun,” she said about working out with the actor. “He connected us. And then Sydney was such a legend. She just sent me like 10 versions of this little voice-memo thing. And it was, like, three days before the release, and she was the absolute best for doing it.”
