AEW’s Tay Melo is ready for her in-ring return and it will also be her STARDOM debut. She has been out of action for two years as she gave birth to her first child.
At New Year Dream, in tag team action on Jan. 3, Melo will team up with Mina Shirakawa to challenge Athena and Thekla. This will also be Athena’s debut for STARDOM.
Melo’s last TV match for AEW was a Street Fight in January 2023 where she teamed with Anna Jay in a loss against Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale.
As for Athena, she has been the ROH Women’s World Champion now for over two years. She defeated Billie Starkz for the second year in a row at Final Battle.
