The end of the season promises to be full of major events for Real Madrid. In addition to the scheduled arrival of Kylian Mbappé, a performance by Taylor Swift also shakes up the calendar.

The end of the season is still far away and yet the atmosphere is buzzing with Real Madrid. And almost a rush, because if the recruitment of Kylian Mbappé seems more likely than ever, there is also a brand new stadium which is preparing to reopen its doors. For the occasion, the brand new Santiago Bernabeu will notably welcome another global star, this one a singer. Taylor Swift will thus perform for a concert scheduled for May 30 in Madrid. But faced with the demand of her Spanish fans, the young woman could add a second date with a concert which would take place on May 29. Enough to shake up Real Madrid’s plans.

Because as explained The Athletic, the logistics are significant when it comes to preparing a stadium for such a concert. No less than three days of preparation are necessary, which would imply that Santiago Bernabeu would be available from May 26. Problem, Real Madrid must host Real Betis that day, as part of the last day of the Spanish championship. The alert was therefore immediately given within the Merengue club and a request was sent to La Liga to request that the match be brought forward by one day, to May 25.

Already seen

But then another dilemma arises for the Spanish Football League since by tradition, and so that all the teams are placed on the same equal footing, all the matches of this final round of the Liga are played simultaneously. The body will therefore have to decide and decide whether the full day can be brought forward to this famous Saturday, May 25. A possibility which seems entirely plausible since it would not be the first time that such a decision would be taken.

At least in other proportions, because when the Rolling Stones or Guns N’Roses visited the Metropolitano in Madrid, Atlético had obtained an exemption so that its matches could be moved accordingly. It remains to be seen whether Javier Tebas and all the actors involved will give their consent or not for the pleasure of Taylor Swift and her fans.
