Taylor Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn shared a series of rare Instagram photos as fans of the pop superstar expect her to share more about their quiet romance on her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
On Monday — just two days before his 33rd birthday on Feb. 21 — the British actor uploaded a carousel of images that led with a shot of him taking a mirror selfie in the woods with a film camera.
He also posted photos of himself sharing a drink with friends and an adorable canine companion, plus snaps of the ocean, an empty casino and a Los Angeles landscape. Alwyn rounded out the collection with what appears to be a photo of himself as a child.

Swift, 34, split from Alwyn in the spring of 2023 after six years together.
The superstar announced the April release of “The Tortured Poets Department” at the 2024 Grammys earlier this month.

Echoing many others, one Swift supporter expressed enthusiasm over her potentially spilling tea about her time with Alwyn.
“I’m actually so obsessed with the concept of this album already,” the person enthused. “’All’s fair in love and poetry’ is giving ‘you treated me the way you did and it’s fair game for me to write about it.’”
Swifties have theorized that the name of the singer’s next LP is a savage nod to the group chat Alwyn shared with his pals Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott. taylorswift/InstagramIn 2022, Alwyn and Mescal, 28, told Variety that they were part of a boys-only group chat called “The Tortured Man Club,” created by Scott, 47.
“[Scott is] just on it every day. He’s just on it by himself,” Mescal said at the time, to which Alwyn joked, “Just messaging himself good mornings.”
Alwyn previously discussed “The Tortured Man Club” in an interview with GQ UK, explaining that the name “is, I guess, a reflection on Connell and Nick,” the role he played in the film “Conversations with Friends.”

Meanwhile, the Grammy winner has moved on with NFL player Travis Kelce, who just won this year’s Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. The two went public in September 2023.
