Never-before-seen photos of Taylor Swift portraying Sandy in a childhood production of “Grease” have surfaced online.
Actor Tobin Mitnick posted the snaps on Instagram Thursday, showing himself and the pop superstar in costume as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, respectively, in June 2000.
“Thank you mom for digging these pics of @taylorswift and I harmonizing like buttah on summer nights twenty five years ago out of storage,” Mitnick, 36, captioned the post.
He then gave a shout-out to Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, writing, “Also trav the note is an f-sharp if you’re interested.”
In the first picture, a young Mitnick wore a black leather jacket and a 10-year-old Swift sported a light blue ensemble with her blond hair pulled back.
“Thank you mom for digging these pics of @taylorswift and I harmonizing like buttah on summer nights twenty five years ago out of storage,” Mitnick wrote. Mitnick portrayed Danny Zuko, while Swift played Sandy Olsson.In another shot, the “Cruel Summer” singer, now 34, showed her character’s transformation by wearing a big blond curly wig and a strapless black top.
In the musical, Sandy famously goes from being a shy, young teen to a cigarette-smoking, leather-wearing woman after falling in love with bad boy greaser Danny while attending Rydell High School in Chicago in 1959.
Mitnick’s followers flooded the post to express their shock over the blast from the past.

“This was not the mashup I was expecting today,” a third agreed.

Mitnick joked he told fans about the Swift collab to help sales of his book. jewslovetrees/InstagramMitnick expressed his surprise after the slideshow went viral, noting that he has made mention of his and Swift’s co-starring days in the past.
“I’m sorry why did this not get this kind of attention in like March when I told you all about it in a shameless attempt to goose my book sales,” he joked in the comments section of his post, referring to “Must Love Trees: An Unconventional Guide.”
The comedian also shared the post to his Instagram Story, joking, “RIP my mentions,” indicating he was getting an influx of app notifications.
