The remains of late Nigerian gospel singer Dele Agbeyo, popularly known as Dele Gold, have been buried in Lagos.
TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that the family and friends of the late singer gathered at his residence in Abule Egba, Lagos, to pay their last respects as he was laid to rest.
Recall that the singer’s unexpected death sparked reactions from his fans and her colleagues in the industry.
Speaking at the funeral service, the singer’s colleague Abimbola Otusanya, at DAAR Communications service, described him as a “generous giver” at the burial ceremony.
She said: “He was a friend and brother to the house. All through the period he was with DAAR, he was always present.
“Sometimes, he will release his equipment for us. He was a generous giver. On a personal note, he is a friend in 2017.
“I had surgery and I needed to travel to Ibadan, Dele gave me a car that took me to my family at no cost.”
The cleric, who officiated the ceremony, also disclosed that the singer “never charged to perform at churches”.
“Dele Gold made an impact with God. Dele did not accept a dime from any church to perform. He used all he owned to serve God,” he said.
