The Telangana government has announced that TSRTC employees will receive a 21 percent PRC (Pay Revision Commission), with the new wages starting from June 1. This increase is a welcome relief for the hardworking employees, as they have been waiting for a wage revision.
Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar confirmed this news during a press conference at Bus Bhavan, mentioning that despite financial challenges, the government decided to provide the PRC. The last PRC implemented was 16 percent in 2017, making this new increase even more significant for the employees.

The state government is estimated to bear an additional burden of 418.11 crore due to the implementation of the 21 percent PRC. Nevertheless, the government is dedicated to supporting the employees and ensuring they receive fair compensation for their dedication and hard work.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar also mentioned the successful implementation of the Mahalakshmi scheme within 48 hours of the Congress government taking power, as promised during the election campaign. He highlighted that despite challenges, the scheme is running smoothly and benefiting many individuals in need.
