Though there may be suggestions that Erik ten Hag could be sacrificed by the new regime at Man United, the Dutchman appears to be working on the basis that he’ll still be in the Old Trafford hot-seat during the 2024/25 season.
There’s still time for the Red Devils to end the season well, given that they remain in the FA Cup, and they’re slowly creeping back up the Premier League table and hitting form just at the right time.
Indeed, their results over the next few months may well determine whether Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS representatives decide to keep ten Hag on for at least another campaign, or if it’s felt that a clean break will be more beneficial for the club.

For now the status quo remains and, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira (h/t Fichajes), Man United will fight Juventus this summer for the enviable talents of 25-year-old Dutch midfielder, Teun Koopmeiners, who currently plies his trade at Atalanta.
The outlet report that the player has an impressive 21 goals and 12 assists in 104 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A side.
With the Red Devils midfield likely to be cleared out this summer, Koopmeiners would represent a solid addition whether or not ten Hag remains.
