Teni respond Tobi Bakre, others complaining about parenting

Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has demanded for justice for uncles and aunts who bear the burden of caring for children that are not their own.

Teni, in response to a clip of Nollywood actor and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tobi Bakre, where he lamented about his son’s unrelenting demands, accusing the child of being “manipulative”.

In the hilarious but genuine video on Instagram, Tobi Bakre spoke about how children drains ones energy till when there is none left.

Teni via her instagram addressed parents who shield themselves from responsibilities but put the burden on relatives.

She began, “All these people wey don born, wey dey go dey complain everyday.

“I no follow you enjoy all the things wey you enjoy use born that pikin.

“I was not there. In fact, I didn’t even know, I had no clue. Una born pikin finish una come leave the pikin for us aunty and uncle make we dey suffer.

“Were we there? It was all you. Please please handle your responsibility.”

She urged parents to take responsibility for their actions and stop coming online to rant about the challenges of parenthood.
