Multiple bouts have been confirmed for NJPW 52nd Anniversary.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced multiple matches for NJPW 52nd Anniversary on March 6. Most notably, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito will face IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion SHO. This will mark the return of the traditional World Heavyweight Champion vs. Junior Heavyweight Champion match, which has not been held since 2021.

Additionally, Jack Perry will make his NJPW debut when he faces Shota Umino in a first-round bout in the New Japan Cup. Perry first appeared at NJPW Battle in the Valley on January 13, where he attacked Umino.

The show will feature other New Japan Cup matches as well. KENTA will face YOSHI-HASHI, and Toru Yano will face Yujiro Takahashi.

Elsewhere on the card, Just Five Guys (SANADA, Taichi, Yuya Uemura & DOUKI) will take on HOUSE OF TORTURE (EVIL, Ren Narita, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Dick Togo). Plus, among other matches, El Desperado, Tomohiuro Ishii, Hirooki Goto, and Hiroshi Tanahashi will clash with Los Ingobernables De Japon (BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, Yota Tsuji & Hiromu Takahashi).

WrestleZone will have coverage of NJPW 52nd Anniversary once it airs on March 6.
