While the majority of accomplishments in wrestling are pre-determined, there are some that come together over time without being set up in advance. We have seen one more of those established and it is one of the more impressive in recent memory.

The main event of last week’s Monday Night Raw saw Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan defeat Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega. According to Fightful, this marked Rey’s 33rd televised match since being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, breaking Jerry Lawler’s previous record of 32. Rey was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2023. He has said that he will retire at 50 years old, which he will reach in December 2026.

Opinion: This is one of those records that might not be the most important in history, but it is still incredibly impressive. Rey is still active in the ring and has never come close to embarrassing himself. He can still have some rather good matches, which shows you just how talented he really is. You do not see this happen with almost anyone else and I could go for seeing Rey out there for a lot longer.
