While those people are designed to be booed, there is a fine line between the character they are portraying and the wrestlers themselves. It is terrible to see something happen to the people, but now we are seeing some great news about a longtime wrestling heel who was undergoing some major health issues.

Earlier this year, former WWE star Maryse revealed that she was being forced to undergo a hysterectomy to remove tumors from her ovaries. Maryse was diagnosed with Primary Peritoneal Serious Borderline Tumors, which affects seven cases out of a million women in the US. This week, Maryse announced on Instagram that she has undergone surgery and is now tumor free. She said she will now be resting and following up with specialists.

Opinion: Anything that involves the term “tumor free” is a good thing and it is outstanding to hear that Maryse is doing a lot better than she was earlier this year. That sounds like a rather serious situation and hopefully it isn’t something she has to deal with ever again. It is great that she was able to get the help that she needs and can seemingly move on from a rather terrible condition.
