IMG Credit: WWEThere was more to it. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, there is always the chance that someone is going to be moving around the roster, including leaving it altogether. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but sometimes you will see someone leave for what seems like one reason but there is actually something else going on. That appears to be the situation again.

Last week, Drew Gulak was reported to have left WWE, which followed him being removed from WWE TV after an allegation of inappropriate behavior from Ronda Rousey. According to Fightful Select, Gulak was described as a bully by various NXT wrestlers. This included intentionally targeting minor injuries and then intimidating wrestlers into not reporting the incidents. At one point, NXT executive Shawn Michaels reprimanded Gulak over his conduct, including intentionally spiking a wrestler during a match. Rousey’s accusation is not believed to have been the reason for Gulak’s departure, but rather the other incidents.

Opinion: This does explain a bit, though Gulak leaving WWE following the Rousey accusation would not have been a surprise. If these stories about Gulak are true, there is no reason for him to stay with WWE, or any big promotion for that matter. Intentionally injuring your opponents has no place in wrestling and it is rather horrible that it happened for as long as it did.
