Thauvin in good shape!

After a great start to the season (four goals and three assists from August 9 to September 16), Florian Thauvin fell into line. This is due to a minor injury in October and the lackluster performances of Udinese, who have accumulated six defeats in eight matches! The Friuli team resumed its march forward by winning on the field of Fiorentina (1-2), Monday evening for the 17th day of Serie A.

Moise Kean had opened the scoring from the penalty spot at the start of the match (8th), for the former PSG player’s 10th goal, but the Zebrette offensive duo reversed the situation at the start of the second half. Lorenzo Lucca equalized after returning from the locker room (49th) before the goal of “FloTov” with a left shot which escaped David De Gea (57th).

Thauvin helps Udinese win

The French international, 2018 world champion, now aged 31, has scored a second goal (after the one scored in the 3-1 defeat against Inter) and has five goals this season. Already as much as last season with Udinese Calcio. Above all, Thauvin made his team win for the third time this season. Only championship stars like Lautaro Martinez for Inter, Romelu Lukaku for Napoli and Ademola Lookman for Atalanta have made their team win so many times. Great casting!

La Viola, who played in the Conference League on Thursday, did not manage to snatch a point in their lair of Artemio Franchi. The Florentines are doing poorly in the race for Europe since they are now three points behind Lazio, 4th, before a shock against Juventus this weekend… The Udine club, for their part, returns to 9th position.
