An interesting new report has looked at the players who are set to see their current contracts end in only eight months tome.
The report from Sportingpedia highlights the 11 most valuable players in the world, who have current deals that will conclude at the end of June 2025.
The report states that the 11 players in question have a combined market value of €510million (approx £424m).
Bayern Munich and Liverpool each having three players on the list of eleven (see below).
A major surprise in particular, that the scousers have allowed such a situation with contracts to develop.
Arguably their three best players – Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk – who as things stands, are set to walk away from Anfield in just over eight months time, with Liverpool not picking up a penny for the trio.
Real Madrid are heavily linked with and expected to get Trent Alexander-Arnold for free, ahead of next season.
At the weekend, all three started in the win over Chelsea. Virgil van Dijk captaining Liverpool, Mo Salah scoring and getting an assists, whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold was arguably their best player in the 2-1 win.
The 11 players identified by Sportingpedia

Interesting to see what happens with all 11 players, whether their clubs can convince them to sign contract extensions, then if not, where these players will end up.
