After taking home the Golden Globe for best supporting female actor in a TV series for her season two performance, Ayo Edebiri finally received her Emmy recognition for season one of her show The Bear and said this win only happened because of her parents support.

Edebiri beat out Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Janelle James (Abbott Elementary), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary), Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) and Jessica Williams (Shrinking).
