On May 16, Didier Deschamps announced his list for the next Euro which will take place in Germany. The coach of the France team surprised everyone by announcing the call-up of N’Golo Kanté. The midfielder who plays for Al-Ittihad had not been called up for the Blues for almost two years. But his return quickly gained unanimous support among the staff of the France team but also among the players.

At a press conference this Thursday, Antoine Griezmann returned to this surprise return. “I was very surprised but it makes me happy to see him here. We know the player and the man. His role will be to run and rake the ball. He’s here for that, it will be a big help for us”he said before being followed by Youssouf Fofana. “I was pleasantly surprised for the player he is and the personality. I was very happy to discover this person. I’ve heard a lot of good things. He showed it to us on the pitch. Since he plays in my position, it will be a source of inspiration. Mentally, it will do the group good to have him.” N’Golo Kanté has already made everyone agree.
