A basketball fan since childhood, the 36-year-old midfielder made a very strong choice by joining the Giticsa Jovens L’Eliana club, a basketball team playing in the fourth Spanish level. The former Toulouse player even played his first match with this club, scoring 5 points in the process.

A reconversion to come?

Does this experience herald a reconversion of Etienne Capoue? For the moment, the French footballer would retain the possibility of signing for a football club if a good opportunity presented itself in the coming months. Capoue has in fact been free from any contract since the end of his adventure at Villarreal last summer.
