Lawrence Saint-Victor is responding to rumors online. The 42-year-old The Bold & The Beautiful actor, who has also written for the show since 2015, responded amid accusations online about him writing for his own character, Carter Walton. After a viewer complained about Carter’s character’s storyline on the soap, who is currently involved in a secret romance with former Forrester Creations colleague Hope, Lawrence responded. “I don’t usually respond, but you’re calling my integrity into question,” he began. You are free to post what you want, but don’t tag me.” A day later, he added further context: “Here’s some context about my response to a ‘fan’ yesterday. I was accused of using the power they think I have as a writer to write myself into love scenes so I can kiss all the actresses. That’s an insulting statement, and I wish not to be tagged in comments like those.” Executive producer and headwriter Bradley Bell tapped Lawrence to write scripts for the CBS soap years ago. “It’s pretty dope,” he told Woman’s World back in September. “I get to work closely with Brad and hear his ideas and his vision, and then work with the writers and write. As an actor, you’re usually the last one to get it, but as part of the writing team, you’re part of creating the thing that they’re doing on set every day.
