It’s time for the draw of 32e final of the Coupe de France – the first round involving the elite clubs of French football. It is from 7 p.m. this Monday that the final 64 teams entered will be determined as to their opponent for a round scheduled for December 21 and 22.
The French Football Federation has already lifted the veil on the three groups which will determine the 32 posters, with six Ligue 1 teams in each group. Pot A thus brings together OM, ASM, Nice, Toulouse, Saint-Etienne and Montpellier, with a potential clash between Marseille and Monaco, or a Riviera derby in perspective.
Pot B brings together Lille, Lyon, Strasbourg, Auxerre, Reims and Nantes, but also the Martinicans of RC Saint-Joseph. Finally, pot C brings together PSG, Lens, Rennes, Brest, Angers and Le Havre, without forgetting the Réunionnais Saint-Denis FC and the Girondins de Bordeaux.
