The Marlow Murder Club is one of the exciting new PBS Masterpiece TV shows. The adaptation of Robert Thorogood’s novel premieres its first season on October 27 in a four part series starring Samantha Bond as Judith Potts, Jo Martin as Suzie Harris, Cara Horgan as Becks Starling and Natalie Dew as DS Tanika Malik. In the series, Judith, Suzie and Becks start an investigation. To assist with official police investigation, headed by Tanika, They must suspect witnesses, and face down real danger as they work against the clock to stop the killer in their tracks. With Season 1 coming to an end on Sunday (November 17), fans are curious whether the show will be getting a second season. Keep reading to find out more… The cozy crime drama has officially been renewed for a second season by PBS Masterpiece. Samantha Bond, Jo Martin, and Cara Horgan are all set to return as Judith, Suzie, and Becks for Season 2 of the British drama series, Variety reports. Natalie Dew will also reprise her role as police inspector Tanika Malik. Season 2 will see the group reunite to solve another spate of unsettling crimes. The series is scheduled to film this summer and will be directed by Steve Barron. Season 2 will adapt the author’s second novel in the series, Death Comes to Marlow, for a two-episode murder mystery, while Lucia Haynes and Julia Gilbert will each write brand new stories for the season. Per the official logline: “From a seemingly impossible murder inside the locked study of a sweeping mansion, to the mysterious case of a man murdered in the middle of a sleepy cul-de-sac with no connection to the town, and an unexpectedly brutal accident at the prestigious Marlow sailing club that quickly reveals itself to be something more sinister, there’s no rest for our sleuthing trio.” In the U.K., it will air on UKTV network U&Drama and stream on UKTV’s streaming platform U in 2025.
