The Miz recently shared his perspective on the ongoing tension with R-Truth during an interview on The Rich Eisen Show. While Miz is the one who officially turned heel on Truth during their recent rivalry on Monday Night RAW, he surprisingly claims that R-Truth has been the true villain all along.
In their October 14th match on RAW, Miz and Truth squared off following weeks of tension. The pair, previously known as The Awesome Truth, have a long history together, including a reign as WWE World Tag Team Champions. However, their reunion hit a snag, leading Miz to attack Truth, thus reigniting old rivalries.
When asked about his actions, Miz offered a different perspective:
“I feel like I’m a good guy. I’ve done everything right. R-Truth is the one that has been the heel the whole time, in my opinion. You don’t believe me? I mean, the guy has put me through so much. So much.”
He elaborated on why he turned on Truth:
“Sometimes you just need to turn on someone to make them realize the error in their ways. That’s the truth right there.”
This storyline adds layers to Miz’s persona, portraying him as someone who believes his actions are justified, even when they seem villainous to others.
On this week’s RAW, Miz further distanced himself from The Final Testament, hinting at a potential solo path moving forward.
Is R-Truth really the villain in this feud, or is Miz just spinning the narrative in his favor? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
