The Miz is proof you shouldn’t get too hung up on losing.

The Miz has had an illustrious wrestling career. But his career would not have existed if it was not for the WWE Tough Enough reality series. Miz did not win the competition but still ended up bagging a WWE contract. This Sunday, the story of how The Miz became a successful WWE Superstar is set to be told on the A&E as part of the Biography WWE Legends series.

The A-Lister participated in the 2004 season of WWE Tough Enough. Although he did not win the show, he earned a WWE contract and has been a WWE mainstay. He holds the record for the longest days spent as a WWE Superstar by a participant on Tough Enough.

Ahead of his documentary, he offered some insight about persevering.

“I didn’t win Tough Enough. But how ironic is it that by losing I became the most successful Tough Enough alum. Story of my life. This is why you can’t harp on the losses because they can be turned in to big wins. Watch Biography WWE Legends: The Miz this Sunday July 14th 8/7c,” The Miz tweeted.
