WWE is a major force in professional wrestling, allowing its stars to explore different opportunities and use the company to kickstart their careers. That’s why it’s no surprise that Cody Rhodes played a prank on The New Day during the latest season of ‘Scare Tactics.’

In case you were not aware, ‘Scare Tactics’ is an elaborate prank show designed to scare unsuspecting people for laughs and it has been going on for several years, with tons of celebrities thrown in the mix.

During the latest season of ‘Scare Tactics,’ Cody Rhodes decided to pull a prank on The New Day as he set up a talent audition for a show called ‘Thrill Ride.’ They were interviewing a woman and The New Day felt she had what it takes to be selected.

Cody Rhodes seemed clearly bothered and uncomfortable with a woman, which confused The New Day. He ended up calling her a freak and wanted nothing to do with her. In response, the woman screamed at Rhodes, telling him not to call her that, which led to a surprising explosion that shocked The New Day. Afterwards, Rhodes explained that they were part of ‘Scare Tactics’ and not ‘Thrill Ride.’

The New Day loves being part of shows outside of WWE but they clearly did not expect Cody Rhodes to pull such an epic prank on them on ‘Scare Tactics.’ Nevertheless, fans definitely had a great time watching The New Day and Cody Rhodes interact in such a way and that is all that matters.
