The Premier League turned upside down!

Despite Chelsea’s superb end to the season, Mauricio Pochettino left his post as Blues coach on Tuesday. Enough to ignite the rumors while Manchester United is also looking for a new coach.

As in Liverpool, which said goodbye to idol Jürgen Klopp (before the induction of Arne Slot on the bench), Chelsea and Manchester United will also change coaches. The Red Devils finished a pitiful 8th place in the Premier League, with a scandalous -1 goal difference, and must win the FA Cup final, against Man City on Saturday, to qualify for a European Cup (the Europa League in this case). Erik ten Hag’s days are numbered.

Among the Blues, the departure of Mauricio Pochettino was announced on Tuesday. Chelsea finished the season with a cannonball to secure a sixth qualifying place for the Conference League (and for the Europa League in the event of Cityzens success at Wembley). But the Argentine coach who worked for PSG, in conflict with his managers over recruitment, reached an agreement to leave the London club, barely a year after his appointment (in place of Frank Lampard, who replaced Graham Potter) .

Tuchel and De Zerbi expected!

The departure of Pochettino redistributes the cards in the Premier League, because Thomas Tuchel, targeted by Manchester United, would not be against a return to Chelsea, after winning the Champions League with the Blues in 2021. Roberto De Zerbi will leave Brighton and, if he is not chosen by AC Milan (who would prefer Paulo Fonseca), the Italian strategist could accept a new challenge in PL, both in West London and in the North of the country.

Hansi Flick, after dreaming of Barça, would also have come forward… But, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea, owned by the American fund BlueCo (which also owns RC Strasbourg), could bet on a young technician to lead this group of young players which cost very, very expensive. Sebastian Hoeness (Stuttgart), Michel (Girona), Kieran McKenna (Ipswich) and Enzo Maresca (Leicester) would thus be in the short list of residents of Stamford Bridge.
