As Real Madrid move closer to signing Kylian Mbappé, the repercussions could be felt across the rest of Europe at Champions League level.

Los Blancos might not overspend after Mbappé, despite pursuing Alphonso Davies, but Paris Saint-Germain are ready to strike a big blow in the transfer market.

Not only do the Parisians intend to replace Mbappé, but ESPN reports that they intend to strengthen themselves in all areas and will have 300 million euros to do so. They have already identified five names that stand out from the others in terms of potential targets: Victor Osimhen, Rafael Leao, Bruno Guimaraes, Bernardo Silva and Leny Yoro.

Big battle for Yoro

While FC Barcelona are unlikely to be interested in either of these names this summer due to their financial constraints, it does mean that Bruno Guimaraes could be off the cards for years to come. he was just leaving, and that Bernardo Silva could escape them for good. It’s true that he’s always been touted as a target of Xavi Hernandez more than anything else, but at 30 this year, Silva might only make one big move in his career.

For Real Madrid, the main target is obviously Mbappé. However, the club have been heavily linked with Lille defender Leny Yoro, who is seen as the next big centre-back star. Only 18 years old and whose contract expires in 2025, Yoro has every interest in being transferred this summer. If PSG find themselves in a race for Yoro with Real Madrid, they could well push harder, having lost Mbappé, as Los Blancos did with Aurélien Tchouameni in 2022.
