‘The Queen’s Gambit’ Actor Bill Camp Signs With UTA

EXCLUSIVE: Emmy, SAG, and Tony-nominated actor Bill Camp has signed with UTA in all areas.

Camp was most recently seen in the Apple TV+ series Presumed Innocent from creator David E. Kelley, where he stars alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard. He also appears in Kelley’s Netflix miniseries Man in Full with Jeff Daniels, which premiered in 2024.

Upcoming, Camp will be featured in Huntington opposite Glen Powell and Margaret Qualley, Kelly Reichardt’s The Mastermind alongside Josh O’Connor, John Margaro, Alana Haim, Hope Davis, the Netflix limited series Zero Day with Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemmons, and the Netflix dark comedy limited series Sirens opposite Julianne Moore. He will also play JP Morgan in the third season of HBO’s The Gilded Age.

Previously, he starred alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in Netflix’s Golden Globe and Emmy-winning series The Queen’s Gambit in the role of William Shaibel. For his portrayal, he received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Male Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie. He also appeared in the Hulu miniseries The Looming Tower with Jeff Daniels and Peter Sarsgaard.

Camp is best known for his breakout performance as “Detective Sergeant Dennis Box” in the HBO limited series The Night Of, starring opposite Riz Ahmed. For playing Dennis, he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Other notable credits include Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave, Aaron Sorkin’s Molly’s Game, Yorgos Lanthimos’ Killing of a Sacred Deer, Adam McKay’s Vice, and Todd Haynes’ Dark Waters.
