The Rascalz reunited on WWE NXT.
Wes Lee came to the ring to address his future on the July 9 episode of WWE NXT after his loss to Oba Femi at NXT Heatwave. He noted that he had a rough few days, and he admitted that Femi got the best of him. Lee said that he had put his everything into beating the unbeatable, and he could feel holding the title in his hands again.
Lee said that he did not know where to go from here. He stated that he had a hell of a run in NXT, and he teased leaving, as he said it was time for him to start stepping away, but TNA’s The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) interrupted.
Wentz said that they didn’t want him to go, even though they missed him. Lee said he missed them, and he was proud of them. Wentz told Lee that he was the greatest NXT North American Champion ever. Wentz said it was time to get MSK back together, and it was time for The Rascalz to wreck shop around here. The three stars then embraced.
Lee and Wentz, formerly known as Nash Carter, previously won the NXT Tag Team Championship together. Wentz was released in 2022. Before Lee and Wentz came to NXT, they teamed up together in TNA/IMPACT as The Rascalz along with Miguel.
NXT and TNA have been working together for the past several weeks, as stars from the two rosters have been crossing over on an increasingly regular basis. TNA’s Joe Hendry, Frankie Kazarian, and Jordynne Grace have competed on NXT, while NXT’s Tatum Paxley and Charlie Dempsey have shown up on TNA programming.
