The WWE Universe witnessed a monumental moment at WWE Bad Blood when The Rock made his triumphant return, stepping into the spotlight at the end of the show to stare down Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. This marked The Rock’s first appearance since the Raw After WrestleMania, where he hinted that his story with Cody Rhodes was far from over.
Speaking to LADbible, The Rock shared insight into his commitment to WWE and his vision for the future. “Any opportunity I can to go back and not only make appearances, but help to expand the company, whether domestically or globally, I always go back. It’s also part of my obligation that I happily do,” The Rock explained, emphasizing his dedication to contributing to WWE’s growth.
Earlier this year, The Rock joined the TKO Board of Directors, positioning himself as a significant figure behind the scenes. This move paved the way for his evolving “Final Boss” character, which has been gaining traction ahead of WrestleMania XL. Reflecting on his deep ties to WWE, The Rock said, “I came along in the 90s and wrestled for Vince into the 2000s, so there’s some real connective tissue that goes back generations, and for that I will forever be grateful, because it provided me a platform and a way to express myself in ways that nothing else would allow, other than acting.
He continued, “So the opportunity for me to become a director, sit on the board, take that position, is just another way that I could help the company grow.”
While fans are eager to know when The Rock will make his next appearance on WWE TV, his return at WWE Bad Blood and his recent comments suggest that he remains dedicated to playing a pivotal role in WWE’s present and future.
