Dwayne Johnson is doing a worldwide media tour to promote Moana 2, opening in theatres on November 27. He spoke with Entertainment Tonight about some of the musical influences the pop star had on his new film, namely the Moana-bes similarities to Swifties. The Rock’s daughters did vocals for the Moana fans in the movie, and he said that his home has plenty of love for Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé’s BeyHive.

“We are [fans]. We love Taylor, we love Beyonce. Tia, our littlest one, I call her ‘Ti-yoncé’ because she’s my little Ti-yoncé. She’s like, ‘Yeah!’ and [embraces it and] comes strutting over. ‘Hey daddy!’”

The Rock shared how he also called in a favor to score tickets to Swift’s Eras Tour for a friend, noting that he doesn’t typically like asking for favors like that.

“People will tell you, I hate asking for stuff, and I don’t do it. But in this case, a good friend of mine was like, ‘Please. Taylor. Last concert. And I was just — I’m never good at asking for that kind of stuff. I’m good at giving it! Hate asking for it,” he explained. “Made a little call, Taylor made it happen. Tickets [were secured]. Happy. I got the picture of the happy ladies who were there. All is well in the world. I appreciate that about Taylor, it was awesome.”

Swift recently wrapped up the final United States dates of her massive tour. The final three shows will take place in Vancouver from December 6-8.
