The Rock speaks highly of WWE President Nick Khan.

Mike Coppinger of ESPN posted a list highlighting some of the most influential people in boxing, MMA, and wrestling. WWE’s Nick Khan and Triple H made the list. Coppinger included comments from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in his write-up for Khan.

“Nick Khan is a unique force in the sports and entertainment world,” The Rock said. “Excellent leader, strong business acumen and one of the visionary strategists in the game.”

“He’s redefined WWE’s global presence and has set new benchmarks in the industry across all verticals. Nick’s become a close and trusted consigliere to me as well as being an absolute killer — the kind you want in the foxhole with you.”

Nick Khan joined WWE in 2020. The company has smashed records in recent years, and the company continues to expand globally by holding premium live events around the world. WWE merged with UFC to form TKO in 2023, and the company reached a $5 billion deal with Netflix to bring RAW to the streaming platform.

Mark Shapiro On Nick Khan

TKO President Mark Shapiro previously commented on how Nick Khan had cultivated WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia during TKO’s first quarter earnings call on May 8.

“I would say that Nick Khan, in particular has developed, sustained, cultivated, and nurtured a very strong relationship in a handoff from Vince. They have a lot of trust and faith in each other. We’ve been delivering on those events. Potentially, we could look to do more events, but nothing is planned beyond those two events at this time.
