The Rock continues to tease a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

At WWE RAW Day One, The Rock teased coming after “The Head of the Table.” He has since discussed the potential match in multiple interviews. Meanwhile, The Rock also joined the TKO Board of Directors on January 23.

Speaking with Will Cain for FOX News, The Rock was directly asked whether fans would see him face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

“We’re talking about that right now [laughs],” The Rock said. “I like to consider myself a long-gamer, and a builder. So the idea of going up against Roman Reigns and creating, if we were to do something like that, quite possibly, and I mean this respectfully of all the other WrestleManias before us, and keep in mind, I was born into the wrestling business with my grandfather and my dad, my grandfather wrestled for Vince McMahon Sr., back when it was called the WWWF. My dad came along in the 80s, Rocky Johnson, and here I come along.

“So I think with all the success in the build-up of all the WrestleManias in the past, if we were to do something like that, we could possibly put on the biggest WrestleMania of all time. So short answer and long answer is we’re figuring it out.”

The Rock previously said there was a chance that he would face Reigns. Check out his comments here.

As of this writing, there is no word on when The Rock will return to WWE programming. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
