The Rock made a memorable comeback, briefly casting a shadow over Cody Rhodes’ highly anticipated WrestleMania 40 slot. While the situation was later corrected, he made his presence felt on SmackDown last week. The company has now announced The Rock’s next appearance on WWE television.
If you are not aware of what happened, in the pivotal segment of last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, The Rock disclosed his alliance with The Bloodline. Seizing the moment, he criticized WWE fans for favoring Cody Rhodes as the headliner for WrestleMania 40, instead of eagerly anticipating his clash with Roman Reigns.
WWE took to their official Twitter account and announced that The Great One would be making his next WWE television appearance on the March 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown in Glendale Arizona.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that multiple key figures were involved in The Rock’s promo segment. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for The Rock on next week’s SmackDown, as it will be the first episode of the blue brand following Elimination Chamber. Odds are, all hell will break loose at the show.
