The March 1st, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown began with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline making their entrance to bask in the crowd’s acknowledgment in Arizona. A lot happened in the promo and unsurprisingly, it drew a ton of numbers on YouTube.

The Rock referred to nearby Phoenix as the #1 city in America for certain substances. Surprisingly, fans continued to cheer him on. The Rock heightened the confrontational tone by calling fans “cactus-loving crackheads” and teasing a physical confrontation, alluding to “22 inches of heaven” for those brave enough to face him one-on-one.

The Rock then addressed Cody’s challenge, emphatically saying “no.” The Rock mocked Cody Rhodes for suggesting a significant match and responded with a counteroffer. He proposed a match for Night One of WrestleMania 40: The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

If the faces win, The Bloodline won’t be present ringside for the Universal Title match on Night Two. However, if the heels win, Bloodline rules will be in effect for their Universal Title match. Obviously, this set the stage for WrestleMania 40 in a big way.

The promo was clearly a hit with fans online, as it has already garnered 1,036,325 views on YouTube in just 10 hours, which is clearly an insane feat. Naturally, this was not unexpected considering it’s The Rock.

The Rock’s segment also went on longer than expected. We will have to wait and see how WWE Will continue to book The Great One, as his promo certainly put the whole world on notice in a big way.
