The Sex Lives of College Girls has been canceled by Max. On Tuesday (March 18), it was announced that Max will not pick up the show for a fourth season. The show’s producers are reportedly attempting to re-home the series with Netflix, according to Deadline. Creator Mindy Kaling has an established relationship with Netflix, as she has co-created and executive produced shows Never Have I Ever and Running Point with the streaming service. This is believed to have impacted the show’s drop in viewership and critical response, potentially attributing to Max’s decision to cancel. The series premiered on Max in 2021, and the season 3 finale aired in January 2025. It also stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rodgers.
