Karrion Kross is breaking out into the world of acting, appearing in a short film about an Iron Shiek doll coming to life.

Kross took to social media to share the film, titled The Sheik Massacre, which is available now on YouTube. The film sees a group of professional wrestlers all partaking in a roast of the legendary Iron Sheik, when a bolt of lightning hits the doll and brings it to life. From there, the group must try and fight off the doll, which is now after them.

Alongside Kross, the film also stars John Hennigan (John Morrison), Kira Magnin-Forster (Taya Valkyrie), Holly Meowy, Paul Lloyd, Jett Jansen, and more.

What is The Sheik Massacre?

The Sheik Massacre is a short film created by John Morrison and Taya Valkyrie. The couple first thought of the idea and wrote the script on their honeymoon in 2019. Morrison described the plot during a past interview with WrestleZone:

“In the meantime, on our honeymoon, Taya and I wrote a horror/comedy short called ‘The Iron Sheik Massacre’. It’s about an Iron Sheik doll that gets struck by lightning, and becomes sentient and kills a house full of disrespectful new school wrestlers because they’re shitting on old school wrestling, including [The Iron Sheik]. This is another one of those projects where the idea was contained,” Morrison said, “but it’s par for the course with a lot of things that I do it’s blown up into a bigger and much more time-consuming thing. I’m hoping that it’s going to be done and the end of the year, maybe around Halloween. It’s a really fun, bizarre, crazy thing where it will probably run around 20 minutes when it’s all said and done.”

Morrison said the cast also included PJ Black and Super Panda. The short officially debuted at film festivals in 2022.
