While everything seemed to be in place for Randal Kolo Muani to join Turin on loan, the operation remains, for the moment, on standby. This is due to a change in FIFA rules, which limits the number of players who can be loaned abroad to six, a quota already reached by Paris Saint-Germain. Focus on these six players who are blocking the PSG transfer window.
Xavi Simons
Loaned to Leipzig after a real-false return last summer, the Dutchman missed more than two months of competition after an ankle injury which slowed down his high-flying start to the season. The young winger is not one of the most likely profiles to be recalled, especially since he indicated last summer that he no longer wanted to play for PSG.
Carlos Soler
Having left for West Ham, Carlos Soler started the season as a starter at Leverkusen, but his lackluster performances make him increasingly contested in the squad of a team which is having one of the worst starts to the season.
Nordi Mukiele
At the start of the season, the former Montpellier player was not in Xabi Alonso's plans at Bayer Leverkusen, and also suffered a thigh injury which delayed his integration into the rotation. But since the end of November, Mukiele has been used more and more, and has just made two consecutive starts in the Bundesliga for the first time since the start of the season.
Renato Sanches
Like his time at Paris Saint-Germain, Renato is on alternating current at Benfica. When he is on the pitch, he is a real plus for his team, but his repeated injuries do not allow him to find rhythm. This season, he has already been injured three times, and has only taken part in eleven of the 30 matches played by the Lisbon side this season.
Dear Ndour
Trusted by Besiktas, Cher Ndour is having a superb season. Almost indisputable holder of Istanbul, he is notably one of the major players in his team's Europa League journey, despite collective results at half mast, whether at national or European level. It is also he who could allow PSG to unblock Randal Kolo Muani's situation with Juve, although the Parisian club is working in parallel on other options.
Juan Bernat
Last of the six players loaned by PSG abroad, Juan Bernat is only entitled to tiny bits of matches this season for Villarreal. Starting three times this season, the Spanish full-back was hampered at the start of the season by small muscle problems, and does not really fit into Marcelino's plans.
