‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’ Creator Aron Eli Coleite Signs Overall Deal With Paramount TV Studios

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Television Studios (PTVS) has signed an overall deal with  writer/producer Aron Eli Coleite to write and executive produce projects for the studio.

Coleite is the executive producer and showrunner of the upcoming series The Spiderwick Chronicles from PTVS, which will stream later this spring on The Roku Channel.  

“Aron has brought The Spiderwick Chronicles to the screen with all the magic, charm, and wit of the beloved book series. Not only is he a brilliant storyteller, but he is also a phenomenal partner and showrunner. We look forward to continuing our collaboration across all genres of television,” said Nicole Clemens, President, Paramount Television Studios. 

Prior to collaborating with Paramount Television Studios, Coleite co-developed, wrote and executive produced the popular Netflix series Locke & Key. Coleite was also showrunner of the series Daybreak (Netflix) and wrote on the first season of Star Trek: Discovery (Paramount+).

Coleite is executive producing the new Netflix animated series Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld, created by Echo Wu and starring Ali Wong and to be released this summer. In film, Coleite recently wrote ATLAS, starring Jennifer Lopez and directed by Brad Peyton, with the film being released this year on Netflix.
