Lionel Messi did not participate in Inter Miami’s friendly match against Al Nassr on Thursday evening. And the reason for this defection is crazy.

Thursday evening saw the clash of the Riyadh Cup. Inter Miami faced Al Nassr. This match should have been “The Last Dane”, with a final clash between the two GOATs, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. In the end, neither took part in this gala match.

Messi walked away at the last moment

If the reason for Ronaldo’s absence was known to everyone, namely an injury from which he did not sufficiently recover. On the other hand, the mystery was total concerning Messi’s defection.

The Argentinian was completely uninjured. If he missed this match, it was because he feared being beaten by an Al Nassr team in which there was not even Ronaldo. This information was revealed by Turki Al-Sheikh just before the match.

“I learned that Messi would not play. He saw that Cristiano was absent and was afraid of losing against Al-Nasr without Ronaldo. He reversed and started to walk away. He said, “Let me go.”, declared the advisor to the Saudi royal family, and who had participated in the organization of this tournament. The facts finally proved Pulga right since their team was crushed by a score of 6 to 0.

Al-Sheikh went further in his statements indicating that “Saudi Arabia caused a complex in Messi”. However, last May, when he deserted a PSG training session to promote tourism in this country, this was curiously not the case.
