David Beckham’s son Romeo has left Brentford to pursue a career away from football.
Romeo began his footballing journey with Arsenal’s youth academy before joining David Beckham-owned Inter Miami in MLS. He spent two years with the Herons’ reserve team before returning to England and signing for Brentford last summer.
The young striker has however decided to hang up his boots after spending a year with the Bees’ B team. According to The Sun, Beckham is considering a new career in fashion, inspired by his fashion designer mother Victoria. Beckham has already signed with top fashion agent Safe Management and has modelled for Yves Saint Laurent.
A new model is born
A source close to The Sun told the publication: ” Romeo has decided to hang up his football boots and devote his time to his career in fashion. He has loved his time at Brentford but needs to focus his attention on fashion, which is where his passion lies. Romeo has recently signed with a leading fashion agent in Paris and has his sights set on working with some of the biggest brands.
While the youngster has ended his brief football career, he will continue to work with the Brentford Penguins, a team made up of players aged five and over who have Down syndrome.
