Real Madrid set foot on American soil, well not everyone… Francesco Mauri, the first assistant of the duo Carlo-Davide Ancelotti, could not be on the trip due to a passport problem, according to information from Relevo. A terrible loss of earnings for Real, who will therefore begin their preparation in Chicago, without one of the main brains of Don Carlo’s staff.
Described as one of the strong voices during training, the absence of the Italian leaves a void. The problem should however be resolved fairly quickly by Real Madrid. The Merengue club has started the process of getting him overseas before the first match of the American tour. Real Madrid will face AC Milan on August 1st and Francesco Mauri should be on the bench alongside the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s staff.
